Facilities Maintenance & Custodial Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance & Custodial Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality of our facility, combining hands-on maintenance work with custodial and janitorial duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and work orders
- Perform light painting and touch-up work as needed
- Maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and other exterior spaces
- Perform custodial and janitorial duties to keep facility spaces clean and presentable
- Complete minor repairs independently, and coordinate with outside contractors for larger or specialized issues
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable safety codes and regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, custodial work, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of repair techniques (painting, minor plumbing/electrical, general upkeep)
- Familiarity with safety codes and best practices
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with contractors and reporting facility needs
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
